Bottle, sb. Black with a tan top. Oaky vanilla, dried dark fruits, some salty licorice and engine oil in the aroma. Full bodied, sweety malts, but good saltyness and bitters for balance. Soft, nice. Oaky dark roasted. Herbal hops. Nice, delicius drink. A bit weak malty though.

Flaske 0,33l. Gave fra harrisoni. Delt med Rune under avskjedsrating i H9 - 3 Des 13. Svart. Veldig høyt mokkafarget skum som varer i flere minutter - men blir helt borte. Litt lacing. God aroma av røstet malt. Fjærlett på smak. Sjokolade. Avslutter tørt. Farlig lett-drikkelig. Avslutter tørt. Thanks to harrisoni! Deltok med denne i Mass Online Tasting.

Bottle (2011). Dark body, tall tan head. Aroma has brandy, espresso, old books, oak... basically a rich person’s office. Taste has sweet coffee and dark chocolate with soft hints of red wine barrel in the finish. I don’t know how it tasted fresh but right now it’s delicious.

BB 2021, 0,33L bottle. Pours black with small brown head. The head disappears quickly. Strong aroma of liquor, coffee, dark fruits, wood, interesting smell of sweetness. Taste is dark fruits, hints of sweetness, a little sour, coffee, roasted malt. Finish is surprisingly bitter, but not unpleasant. Medium carbonation. A little bit creamy. Alcohol is really well hidden. Overall: really nice one.

Rune (7356) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 4, 2013
A nice little 330ml bottle, vintage 2011, received as a beer gift from harrisoni, thanks. Good looking content. Devil-black body. Rocky, fawn-coloured head, slowly fading to a steady filmy layer. Spotty lacework. Ashy, dark malty nose. Flavours of chocolate powder, bit of oak vanilla, and dusty hops. Malt-fruity tail tingled with alcohol. Well bodied, still easy to approach. Nice and pleasing (shared with Finn as a part of our mass online tasting, Tromsø 03.12.2013).
