330 ml bottle. A dark brown body with a fine beige head that looks fantastic. Aroma has dark malt, oak, vanilla, dry fruit and some chocolate. Flavour is sweet, dark malt, moderate roast, dry fruit, oak, vanilla and chocolate with moderate bitterness. Full body and a nice, rather aftertaste with prunes and a hint of acidic berries. I find it very pleasant to drink.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 29 Sep 2012) Vary dark, almost black colour, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark fruit, raisins, coffee and vanilla. Malty, roasted taste with dark chocolate, black coffee, raisins, vanilla, slightly burnt notes and a generous coffee bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Well balanced and quite tasty. Very nice.

pilsnerrogge (2272) - Finspång, SWEDEN - OCT 27, 2012
Bottled:
Pours black with a rich head. Lots of oak on the nose, also some licorice and paper. Flavour has some faint notes of licorice and coffee but those flavours are soon overrun by oak; loads of dry oak. Gets quite unpleasant after awhile.

Smells not too much, however, taste much but the aftertaste disappears quickly. Perfectly okay beer. I have one that I want to store some years now. But not completely stupid procedures were anyway. I would probably tell you. Not dry in taste either.
