JustinBathurst (128), Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada Jun 5, 2008 The beer pours gold with a 1 cm white head.
The aroma is apple, honey, cut hay, and a touch of grain. Smells like a pils. Thank goodness for that--some of the other Swedish beer labeled as pils sure as hell didn’t.
The mouthfeel is crisp, with nice carbonation.
The taste is sour apple up front, with an excellent, hoppy pils finish. The aftertaste is wonderfully bitter.
An excellent pils. I find it a bit more fruity than usual, but excellent nonetheless. Skinnyviking (2394), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 30, 2008 Bottle. High fluffy white but lasting head. Clear golden body. Powerful barley malt aroma. Mild and yet strong barley malt flavor with a fair amount hops bitterness. Low carbonation and a long bitter aftertaste. Better than my expectations. Simple but good. Jonte (328), Gothenburg, Sweden Mar 3, 2008 Updated: Jun 13, 2008Yellow color with a white head.
