COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed at Spendrup's microbrewery location in Visby, Gotland.
"A well hopped pils with higher bitterness.
Wisby Pils holds 37-38 EBU. The hop varietie used are Hallertau Perel and Saazer which are added at three different phases.
The beer is meant to represent the German school with short and intensive bitterness in the finish.
Wisby Pils is probably the only pils that is brewed on one part wheat malt and four parts barley malt."

Flaska frånSystembolaget. Ljus, klar vätska med fingerhögt skum som snabbt avklingar. Doft av säd. Neutral beska. Torr avslutning. Tråkig, intetsägande.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 4 Oct 2012) Pale yellow colour with lasting white head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty nose with notes of bread, cereal, lemon and fresh grassy hops. Malty taste with bread, tropical fruit, citrus and a fresh, grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, mainly dry. Well made and quite drinkable.

[keg, SBWF2012] Clear golden pour with a large fluffy head. Aroma of cereal grain, floral hops and a slight spicy edge from the Saaz. Really has the aroma and flavour of a pils – quite a faithful rendition. Very crisp on the finish, ends dry and with a nice mix of the biscuity malt and spicy, herbal, hops [27092012]

330 ml bottle. 1570-03. BB 22/08/13. (Systembolaget) Östersund, Sweden. Clear pale golden colour with small white head. Grainy malty aroma. Balanced. Flavour is malt, some hops and some sweetness. Balanced. Mild bitterness. Biscuit. Not bad just a little bit boring. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
