Brewed at Spendrup’s microbrewery location in Visby, Gotland.
"A well hopped pils with higher bitterness.
Wisby Pils holds 37-38 EBU. The hop varietie used are Hallertau Perel and Saazer which are added at three different phases.
The beer is meant to represent the German school with short and intensive bitterness in the finish.
Wisby Pils is probably the only pils that is brewed on one part wheat malt and four parts barley malt."

Tastes like a real Swedish pilsner should taste without the excessive bitterness. Fresh acidity that develops fine citrus notes. A slightly annoying metallic taste way up the coast.

An underrated pils with a little higher quality than many of the more mass-produced beers. The beer has a nice light golden color that looks very nice. The taste and aroma is rich in fruits and citrus. A very refreshing pils but at the same time not watery at all. Perfect on a hot summer day.

@ Röhällavägen. Bottle (330 ml) from Systembolaget (19:-). Malty and a bit spicy, rather bitter, light to medium body. The finish is dry and bitter with malty notes. A quite nice pilsner.

Bottle originally from Ocado, drunk at home. Pale yellow, almost straw. A decent-sized white head. The aroma isn’t great: a bit too lemony and adjunct-y. However the taste rises this beer above your average lager: sweet, and full with a sour and slightly salty aftertaste. Mouthfeel a bit watery but aided by carbonation. Overall verdict: nice enough, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to drink this again. Slightly better than the same brewery’s Klosteröl but not their strongest recipe.

Bottle @ Captain’s Corner, Viking line. Clear golden, thin white head. Grainy malty, sweet corn in aroma. Flavor has sweet malt, grain, buttery notes, decent bitterness. Flavor is quite nice, but the aroma was bad.

Very light yellow color. Mild flavor. More in the American bud and Miller style. A little dry.
