3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber beer, nice complex hoppy aroma. Sweet and sour, caramel blended with hops. But it’s not as extreme as the label might make you believe. Redcurrants, prunes. Dry finish.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Systembolaget. It poured an amber liquid with a big light beige foam. Fairly mild smell at first, took some time for it to wake up. But there is a faint smell of malt and even fainter smell of hops. Fairly mild taste as well, some malt and bread with a hint of hops. The tag said it had amarillo in it, I honestly have to say it’s well hidden, can’t be allot of it. Even though I sound negative this was one of the better octoberfestbiers in this release.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pale amber colour, with big beige head. Aroma is malty and reveals light caramel and possibly munich malt. Hops show off as well here. Good Märzen nose here with a hop twist. Flavourwise, hops and malt play well together, where the malt is really pronounced. Good levels of Co2, yet rounded mouthfeel. A slight slight papery bitterness disturbs vaguely the total image of the beer, apart from that it’s near perfect style-wise. Medium bodied.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours red-orange, with a white head. Smells margarine, vegtables and a little burned. The taste is a lot more hoppy than i would have expected. Although the malt is dominating, notes of vegtables and caramel. The aftertaste has got notes of burned caramel and semi-dark bread.
