On tap at the hotel bar, Hotel Reisen, Stockholm. Clear amber beer, little white head. Palate is minerally crisp. I had a bit of a double IPA fest at the Ardberg embassy and thus is tasting a little fresh air. Very light malts, light caramel note. Mellow citric hops. Crisp finish. The dominant flavour is minerals! But not too bad!

Bottled, BBE 25.04.2014 Pours dark golden in color with a small bubbly head. Floral and citrus notes in aroma. Dry and light malty notes. Light floral notes mixed with some more lighter tones of citrus.

Draft. Dark blond to light amber colored beer with a small white head. Fruity aroma. Taste is nicely hoppy bitte’r and dry. Some exotic fruits and dry bitterish aftertaste.

Keg (Leijuva Lahna, Helsinki)
Super sweet fruity aroma, everything from mango and peach to a bit of lychee and strawberry. Bright orange, keggy off-white head. Fairly simple body, not as bold as the aroma hinted. But clearly a hoppy modern pale ale. Malts sweet and caramelly, aromatic hops a ramped down version of the aroma. Bittering hops heighten the tingle from the carbonatio, and fortunately build up to give this more complexity. Finish has almost toffee-like sweetness, but the bitterness is nice and dry, herbal, and a little bit undergrowthy. Designed to do one job, but doing it rather well. Good one, if it wasn’t for the fizziness, I could session this.

Bärnstensfärgad öl med smutsvitt skum. Doft av fruktighet och viss maltsötma. Smaken är karamellsötma, malt och en balanserad beska.

0,33l bottle @ Bruuveri. Pours clear golden with a medium head. Aroma is malts with plenty of fruits. Flavor is malts, fruits, especially peaches, with a hoppy finish. Nice!

On bottle at Laholmen hotel, Strömstad. Dark golden color, good foam . Good fruitiness, distinct and well integrated hops. Medium body & complexity . Good bitterness. Enjoyable

Något tunn, lite platt. Det händer inte så mycket. Funkar om det krisar, men det finns många bättre att välja.

An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of hops and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

0,33l bottle @ Vihreä Haltiatar Pours clear darkish golden with medium head. Aroma is hops and malts. Flavor is hops, citrus fruits and malts. Easy to drink.
