[keg, SBWF2012] Slightly hazy golden pour, decent white head. Nice aroma of bitter pine and citrus, albeit not as full-on as I was expecting. Balanced flavour of the two components, finishes reasonably sweet and biscuity and with a hint of caramel

Bottle@Ravintola Jano, Helsinki. Slightly cloudy golden color, lasting white head. Restrained malty aroma. Dry flavor with herbal hops, lingering hoppy finish. Medium body, medium-high carbonation. Well-crafted, but slightly dry for my taste.

I love the label. Somewhat classically British real ale in its approach. From the bottle just on cool. An unexcited pour needed just a little rousing. Sloppy, dollop of white sets atop an orange copper body that is just shy of bright and filled with streams of very fine carbonation. Aroma holds hints of damp herbs, Anzac biscuits, pine needles, dried bamboo, honeydew and cantaloupe. Somewhat dull by comparison in the mouth. The hops are overly piney and there is a bitter hop and malt clinch just on the swallow - this character sticks around the most. Buttery and yeasty across the mid-palate with a light hint of toasted grain. Not much esters show. Mouthfeel is soft to soapy in texture with a medium light body. Average afternoon quaffer. Some place on tap: Pour is amber with a white head. Aroma is piny hops. Taste is standard APA with piny hops. Has a good mouthfeel, but is alas rather forgettable.

Not too orange like American style IPA, brewed in Sweden. Slight Amarillo aroma, pours a dark orange colour. However, quite intense bittering without the usual hops of US IPAs. This keeps it refreshing without that Amarillo/Cascade cloyingness I sometimes find.

Smells wonderful when I was going to drink it. Changed my mind pretty quickly about what I liked about this beer then. The taste is bitter and very dull. An aftertaste that lingers long but that is not good at all. Would I buy this beer again? Well maybe but probibly not. Buy rather Brutal Bulldog from Wisby brewery instead.

Aroma has hay, biscuits and some glue. Flavour has the same glue as their DIPA does. Also some gooseberry bush, caramel and biscuits. Decent.
