COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

I love the label. Somewhat classically British real ale in its approach. From the bottle just on cool. An unexcited pour needed just a little rousing. Sloppy, dollop of white sets atop an orange copper body that is just shy of bright and filled with streams of very fine carbonation. Aroma holds hints of damp herbs, Anzac biscuits, pine needles, dried bamboo, honeydew and cantaloupe. Somewhat dull by comparison in the mouth. The hops are overly piney and there is a bitter hop and malt clinch just on the swallow - this character sticks around the most. Buttery and yeasty across the mid-palate with a light hint of toasted grain. Not much esters show. Mouthfeel is soft to soapy in texture with a medium light body. Average afternoon quaffer.

Dark golden with an off white head - fruity hop aroma - Nice malt to support a good hop flavour that has some fruity notes with a nice bitterness in the back - hops in the finish with some fruits and some bitterness - This was nice

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2014 A little boring and stale pale ale without having any excessively exciting flavors or aromas. It isn’t nearly as tangy as some other beers in the same style but at the same time 4,8 is quite low ABV. The taste is however pretty good for being such a easy beer to drink. Drunk on tap.

VM Tasting @ Christian. Pours clear dark golden with a white head. Citrus and more than enough of caramel. Bready and dusty hoppy dry. Medium bodied. Bitter finish.

World Cup Tasting. Golden with a small white head. Malty aroma with lots of caramel along with citrus and hay. Sweetish malty flavour with citrus hops, a touch of tea, and a rather bitter finish

Smells of caramel malt and hops. Clear orange color. Not that impressive pale ale. Would like more freshness from the hops. OK pale ale but not more.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hand pump, The Londoner, Stockholm with Nick. Amber, very strange as carbonated coming out of pump. Some faint hops, too carbonated. Average.
