Appearance: Black color with a creamy beige head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Coffee and roasted malt.
Palate: Medium to light body. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation. Dry texture.
Taste: Roasted malt, espresso and chocolate.
Overall impression: Nice easy drinkable stout. Just a little bit to thin.
Personal stats: On tap at En Öl & Whiskymässa 2013 in Göteborg, Sweden.

[@ Öl och whiskymässan, Malmö] Svart med krämigt skum. Intensiv aroma med rostade toner, lite ölkorv. Men vad hände med smaken?! Alldeles för snäll. På gräns till vattning :(

A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of hops and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

On tap. Aroma is smoky with tar notes. Tastes kinda thin, but with very nice smoke aroma embedded in nice malts. Also notes of smoked meat. Too bad the body is so thin

Keg at Ardbeg Embassy, Stockholm. Pours black-brown-red with a mocha-tan foam cap. Dark, toasty malt nose, burnt leaves, earth. Light sweet flavor with lots of dry, charred malts, gritty toast, soil, dirt, minerals and burnt grass bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Quite dry and bitter to finish, with rich charcoal, dark earth, dry cocoa, faint coffee grinds. Pretty gritty. Not bad. Nice charred wood notes, dustry cocoa.

In short: A smooth creamy stout with a light smoky twist. Too airy and not flavourful enough. Boring.
How: Tap at Ölstugan 1892 Tullen, Göteborg Sweden
The look: See-through black-ish body topped by a medium beige head
In long: Nose is a tiny bit smoky (coal), an old pipe with tobacco, some roast. Taste is soft, creamy velvety malts, light smoky notes, a slice of black cake. Body is a bit too much on the light side. Body is a bit airty with big soft bubbles and a fluffy texture. The beer is very sessionnable but it is mainly because it doesn’t taste much of anything. Not bad, just very bland. My first beer in Sweden, I arrived unprepared and asked the barman to serve me something nice, that’s what I got, some people just don’t realize how lucky they are that it is illegal for me to carry a flame thrower.

Draft @ Arbeg in Stockholm: Black colour, creamy head. Aroma of dark choclate, coffee, and sweet maltynes. Flavor had a creamy mouth feeling of dark choclate, caramelly, some fruitynes was there too. Thin body, medium finish.
