COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Thomas Berglund - Svenska Dagbladet

Doft

Bottle. Black colour, quickly falling light beige head. Aroma roasted, chocolate, some caramel, nuts, some dried dark fruits. Taste is quite the same, mostly roasted. Light body. Roasted, maybe a bit burnt aftertaste. Drinkable and good, but nothing special.

Bottle at our elite tasting. Clear very dark colour. Very rich aroma and flavour. Lots of caramel, toffee, light smoked malts, lots of roasted, ashy and chocolate. Rather dry. Very good.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of roasted malt, with nites of coffee and touches of yeast. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of coffee and touches of malt and hops. Rough, roasty and estery aftertaste with notes of almonds. Quite reasonable but rather tame.

33cl bottle at some café at in the ferry terminal at Värtahamnen, Stockholm. Pours dark mahogany, close to black, with a beige head. Roasty aroma with dark chocolate, some coffee, caramel and just a hint of wood and smoke. Medium to moderate sweet with fairly mild, but pleasant roasty flavours and a balanced bitterness. Tasty and easy to drink.
