COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Thomas Berglund - Svenska Dagbladet

Doft
Tydlig maltrostad ton med inslag av kaffe och rostade mandlar.

Smak
Utpräglad karaktär av mörkrostad malt med inslag av choklad samt en lång efterbeska.

Aroma of chocolate, coffee and slight smoke. Not very strong, but quite sweet taste. Easy to drink, very balanced but lacks flavor and alcohol.

Pretty strong taste. Foam is very thin and aroma is fruity. Not the most typical stout..fruity and some choclate aftertaste.

martjoobolut (939) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 2, 2013
Dark brown, almost black color. Nice head at first, thinner head stays for some time. Aroma is not very intensive. Hints of roasted malts and very subtle alcohol. Taste: espresso, roasted malts, in the end quick hints of bitterness that dissapear quickly. There is also noticable iron in the background, once the bitternes starts to dissapear. Overall: not really good or bad. You can find a lot better beer, but you can find also a lot worse.

330ml bottle (Drink Shop, Tallinn)
Raster messy stale aroma, clearly a nice rich roast. Nice and dark, but poured a bit fizzy, tan head didn’t last very long. In the mouth, it’s a lot more coherent than the aroma. Palate is a little watery considering, perhaps the fizziness doesn’t aid that. Roast is deep and full, quite burnt, but not ashy. Really comes alive in the finnish, the roast fills the mouth, very nice. Not full enough, but still a nice drinker.

Bottle; 5%. Dark body, small head. Smooth aroma with mild roast and chocolate. Sweet and roasty taste. Lively carbonation. Closer to regular "stouts" than "dry stouts" IMO. Quite good but a design like that suggests a heavy and big beer which it’s not.

330ml bottle. Very dark brown color. Medium size yellow-brown color, stays. Sweet, coffee, roast, malty, dusty, fruits in aroma. Roast, milky, malty, mild coffee in flavor. Watery texture. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle. Black, clear. Roasted malts, espresso on nose. Body a bit thinnish, but flavourful. Bitter, with a bit of green/woody yeasty hop remains. Coffee, and lots of dry roasted malts- produces a slight hint of salty licorice. Flavourful, but a bit too dry/thin/hard for me. And the greeny things don’t work.
