COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sometimes you want a particular beer, and you can’t get a particular beer. In this region, American IPAs are few and far between. Enter #002. Flavorful, well-balanced, and best of all, right here. Cheers! “This IPA is all about a good malt foundation and a whole lotta’ hops. We’ve got Wisconsin-grown Centennial, Chinook and Columbus varieties in here, plus some west coast Cascade. This brew packs a symphony of flavor. I think you’ll enjoy it. Hey, if you’re hoppy, I’m hoppy.”

Pretty good all around with a good hop aroma and taste but kind of ends with a rough bitterness that is less than ideal... Good ipa for the new brewery... Worth a shot!... It will get better I'm sure ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draught at the new Wisconsin Brewing Company tap room in Verona, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden amber colored brew with a thick off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some excellent lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, some light citrus and grassy hop profile and a touch of earthy herbs. Taste is medium bodied, plenty of earthy and grassy hop bitterness that hides much of the caramel malt. Finish is semi-dry, some lingering bitterness with a hint of light caramel malt. Tongue shocker scale- three to four minutes.

Bottle - Clear golden pour with a foamy white head. Nose is spicy, piney hops with cedar notes. A bit astringent, with a sweetish malt base that barely peeks through. Taste is dry and piney, with citrus peel, cedar, and a bit more of the sweet maltiness coming through. But this is still about the hops, which stay dry and bitter throughout, into a long finish. More cedar notes as well. It’s light and fluffy, with gentle carbonation. A bit too drying for my tastes, but this is still pretty solid. I’d like a little less ABV, but I guess that’s what the Session IPA is for. Overall, I’m surprised the two beers I liked best of the four WBC beers are the IPAs.

Clear pinkish-gold color, thin white head. Grapefruit, citrus, sweet caramel malt, and hay. Bitter hops and sweet malt blend together well. Crisp, clean, and the right amount of carbonation. Dry and bitter finish, with a small alcohol presence.

On tap at Wisconsin Brewing. Golden amber with a thin white crown. Aroma is tropical and sweet with grapefruit, citrus and floral hops and a caramel backer. Tastes is a tropical/floral mix with citrus and sweet malt mixed in. Finish is a tad dry with slightly below average bitterness for the style.

Pale orange color. White head that quickly fades. Floral and grassy aroma. Taste is bitter with earthy hops. A little over balanced on the hops, but still a good ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan body. Thin, off-white head. Middle of the road, but well done IPA. The hops are there, but not really that bold, or new school...classical American IPA. Some grapefruit, citrus tones. Easy drinking despite the big ABV.

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a clear bright gold with a thin head and lots of carbonation bubbles in the glass, aroma is of slight citrus with a little bit of tropical fruit, the session ironically has more nose than this one, the flavor has a nice crisp front end with some citrus and bitterness in the finish, nice mouthfeel for the most part, pretty amazing this came from Kirby, I was kind of expecting a malt bomb with hops just tossed in, also surprised to see this at 7.1%, would have expected him to brew something around the 6 mark, not bad.

Went to the brewery and tried all 4 of their beers. This one was probably their best. Nice refreshing beer. Good amount of bitterness from the hops.
