Poured a nice dark brown with a modest beige head and lacing. Aroma was of roasted malts and coffee. Taste was also of roasted malts, coffee, cocoa and a light hop bitterness finish. Mouthfeel was pretty good. Overall, a fairly decent Porter from the folks @ Sand Creek.

Pours a dark brown color with light tan head. Coffee, roasted malts, and raw cocoa on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with coffee and chocolate, light sweetness too.

Honestly, fuck this. It’s not 2002 so why are these guys making 2002 "microbrew." This stuff looks okay and even has a nice chocolatey smell at first but digging deeper, it is just laden w/ off-notes and brewing flaws. Oxidized cardboard and weird cherry-ish notes abound along w/ salty soy-sauce notes which you normally only find in high gravity stuff. One needs only to look at the bottom shelf of the cheap beer section of your grocery store to find a better Wisconsin brew.

An okay porter. Dark, but not particularly thick. Mild at the beginning with roastiness coming on strong at the end.

Bottle - Pours cola colored with a light tan head. Nose is metal, chocolate, honey, and dark sweet malt. Taste is honey bread, cocoa, milky with brown sugar and honey finish. Real jacked up carbonation with a thin body.

12 ounce bottle. Pours black with off-white foam. The aroma is roasted malt, but I miss the esters in an English porter. The taste is somewhat thin and lackluster. Not very good, but drinkable I suppose. All that they got right was the color and that´s it.

A real easy to drink porter. Not too smokey and light in alcohol. Pours almost black in color. Smells smokey. Bad at hq in Wisconsin ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

335ml bottle, darker pour. Smell is reminiscent of anchor porter but better. Caramel and toffee, soft hops, soft roast. Falvor also bings to mind anchor porter with an almost crippling english ale yeast character. This one has more cocoa and is more redeemable.
