BADGER PORTER This velvety ale is blended from a duo of Belgian and American dark-roasted malts. When poured, the deep garnet color of this ale is crowned with a creamy tan head.

Poured a nice dark brown with a modest beige head and lacing. Aroma was of roasted malts and coffee. Taste was also of roasted malts, coffee, cocoa and a light hop bitterness finish. Mouthfeel was pretty good. Overall, a fairly decent Porter from the folks @ Sand Creek.

12 ounce bottle. Pours black with off-white foam. The aroma is roasted malt, but I miss the esters in an English porter. The taste is somewhat thin and lackluster. Not very good, but drinkable I suppose. All that they got right was the color and that´s it.

A real easy to drink porter. Not too smokey and light in alcohol. Pours almost black in color. Smells smokey. Bad at hq in Wisconsin ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

335ml bottle, darker pour. Smell is reminiscent of anchor porter but better. Caramel and toffee, soft hops, soft roast. Falvor also bings to mind anchor porter with an almost crippling english ale yeast character. This one has more cocoa and is more redeemable.

On tap at Milwaukee Brew Fest 2013. Pour is dark brown with a slight ruby tint and a small tan head. Aroma and flavor of semi-sweet chocolate, roasted nuts, smoked malts, and a bit of honey. Thin, watery finish.

Aroma is chocolate malts, toffee and dark bread. The flavor is caramel, toffee, strong dark bread and fruit/slight acidity in the finish.

12/20/13 trade from Jamil. Decent strength scent an flavor of coffee, roasty, nutty, dark chocolate nib. A bit thinner feel than I expected. Dark brown almost black appearance. Overall, ok, but nothing extraordinary. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured lighter than I though it should. Slight tan head that disappeared quickly. Light in body. Flavor was decent but nothing stood out distinctly. A decent sessionable porter.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a dark amber with a ruby hue and almost no head. Aroma of a little chocolate and a little Marciano cherry. Taste is light sweet. A little chocolate with citrus and banana. Light bodied with a thin texture. Soft carbonation and a longer than expected finish. Overall, ok. Not really diggin it though.
