CaptainCougar (4637), Rockville, Maryland, USA Aug 19, 2003 Light brown with ruby hues and a full tan head. Aroma of lightly roasted malt and some toffee. Body is slightly thin with lots of caramel malt flavor. A decent porter with a crisp flavorful toffee finish. hopdog (4564), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 12, 2008 12oz bottle acquired in trade with ughmash (thanks!). Poured a deeper brown color with red edges and an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, and toasted grains. Tastes of chocolate, roast, and a light coffee finish. Thinner body. Cornfield (4261), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jul 31, 2006 A decent enough porter, mahogany bodied with a respectable light brown head, it has an aroma of chocolate syrup and sweet malts. A touch of coffee is added to the flavor, but this really needs some bittering to balance it out.
