Skyview (2657), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Dec 2, 2007 Picked up single 12-oz bottle from Brennan’s Country Farm Market in Brookfield, WI. Pours a semi-hazy golden pale brew with a thin and fast dissolving white head. Aroma of light multi-grain malt, with some wheat, with some roasted hazelnuts and orange zest. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of light multi-grain malt, a touch of yeast, and some grassy hops. Finish is smooth and creamy, a little on the dry side but thin in texture. prosqtor (406), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA Nov 22, 2007 Rated from memory. From the bottle, without a glass, as I sampled this at a top-secret campsite located near Millston. Creamy, smooth, dry, and no aftertaste. A nice sessionable ale, which I drank about 25 of it seemed. Didn’t result in too bad of a hangover either :) gws57 (951), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Mar 31, 2007 Found this one bottled in Belvidere, Illinois. Hazy, medium yellow pour with a thin, white head, grassy, wheaty nose with a taste of walnuts and orange. Mouthfeel is distinctively creamy. Finishes dry and clean. This was very nice. Ofortuna (285), Grafton, Wisconsin, USA Dec 11, 2006 Pours a weak orange color and a fizzy quickly fading head. No lacing. Aroma that speaks to the label description, "delicately hop balanced". For what this tries to be, it pulls it off. Surprisingly a bit more body than I had thought, but still thin and uninteresting. A little citrus and creamy maltiness which quickly disappears on the finish. Crisp and mild. The_Epeeist (892), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 24, 2006 12 oz bottle. Looks like a cloudy cream soda with lots of bubbles. Thin bone head; good lacing. Surprising nose of Bananas Foster and toasted almonds. Substantial body with a little carb; surprise again. Woody, malty, nutmeg and lemon lollipops. Finishes with milky butterscotch. Quite nice.
