Can provided by my pop who got it from his buddy who’s son owns the brewery. Can promised to be straight from the line - certainly tastes fresh. Pours hazed golden, unflitered, soapy white head. Smell is fresh citrus and hints of tropical fruits and some sweet malts in the background. Taste is lemon zest, citrus, light, some mango, low maltiness. Almost comes across as a session ipa, but the ABV is a bit higher. Not that the ABV is noticeable. Crushable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Keg @ Flying Saucer, Memphis. Hazy light straw gold color with a creamy white head. Tropical mango and sea salt. Some unwashed underarm dankness. Nice and hoppy, restrained malt profile. Dried pressed pineapple and mango rings. Soft chalky finish. Nice and clean, dry. Light body, zippy carb. Yep, ticks the boxes.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Fresh, citrusy IPA. The brewers’ descriptors are apt. Great draft beer with food and outdoor conversation. Individually satisfying, the second round is enjoyable as well.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft on tap at Wiseacre Takeover at Haymarket for CCBW (Chicago, IL). Pours a decent hazed amber golden hue, a bit dulled overall with a cakey whitish head. Sticks around well nice layering and lacing. Aromas are decent hop elements, citric and nice florals. Some earth, bready malts and gentle grapefruit. Initial is lighter end of the fold, some decent bitterness with some decent florals, touch of melon and grapefruit. Touches of lemon with some decent soapiness. Middle is a touch bready, firm bitterness florals, nice citric edge, grapefruit and lemon juice, some faint pine. Backend is a bit bready, dry. Like most Wheat IPAs, it takes just a bit of time to ramp up from the more muted front end on account of the wheat. Finish is dry, middling bitterness and decent hop element. A pretty solid hop element with a more classic feel. Tasty, fresh stuff.

From a can. Pours hazy orange gold with a very foamy, frothy white head. Tastes like grassy, malty, sweet nuttyness. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet, malty roasted nuts and grains.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Strange to see a canned beer with floaties (methinks from the wheat?) but that is just a visual impediment for the beer has a lovely juicy nose, slight dankness and a citric taste, light bitterness and biscuity husky malt. Solid drinker.
