Formerly Weesper Bier.
Met ons Wispe Blond proef je de eigenwijze smaak van ambachtelijk bier. Een bier met karakter, vol en zacht van smaak met een licht zoete ondertoon.

Bottle at home. Aroma is sweetish grainy malt, bready, sweet fruits, yeast, touch of caramel, hint of apricots. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Drinkable but a bit bland malty sweetish fruity beer.

Zowel zoet als heel licht bitter blondje. Een zomerbier met karakter. Lekker, goed gelukt bier.

The beer has a very nice appearance. The color of the beer is a beautiful yellow, with a tiny orange touch. The beer has a beautiful cloudiness, caused by the sediment that had settled at the bottom of the bottle. The beer pours a nice layer of white crispy foam. The bulk collapses quickly, to leave a minimal drape of foam. The smell of the beer is good, but a little mild. I smell some aroma’s of almond, some slightly sweet fruit notes and a nice hoppy touch. The beer has something of a weizen bier. It has the same fruity aroma to it. The smell is in good balance, but the smell could have been a little tiny bit stronger though. The taste is also very nice. The beer has a nice alcohol almond flavor to it, I also taste some sweet fruits, with some citrusy aspects. The flavors are more Ale like than the smell, that was more like a weizen beer. I am positively surprised by this beer. Good job.

Bottle at home, from Hema. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, little roasted caramel malts, some faint bubblegum/chemical sweetness, and a little dusty cardboard. Medium sweet and light bitter. Under medium body. Below average carbonation. Very one dimensional sweetened lager.

W tle mamy żółte owoce, a finisz to niska i nieco nieprzyjemna (tępa, kapciowa, sucha?) ziołowa goryczka.

Drinking from a 33 cl bottle. In the aroma peaches and hop. The unclear orange beer has a small white head. In the taste some sour. Low carbonated.

A very light tasting ale. Very smooth, a bit sweet, not very bitter. Enjoyable and drinkable!

Bottle from a Deen supermarket. Medium thick, egg-white, moussy head consisting of tiny bubbles and slowly dissolving in the middle, over a hazy peach blonde beer with ochre hue. Rustic aroma of unripe gooseberry, wet paper, grapefruit peel, green banana, apple peel, freshly cut nettles, peach, strawberry, honey, dry earth, white grape peel, dust, old straw, dried flowers. Fruity onset, peach, redcurrant, pink grapefruit accent, sweetish and sourish, quite refreshing actually with a hint of dried orange peel, medium carbo adding a certain additional sourishness, smooth and lightly oily mouthfeel, pleasant honeyish and bready malt sweetishness with a caramelly edge under spicy phenols, leading to a drying finish of floral, earthy, spicy ’noble’ hop bitterness which is well matched with the persisting bready maltiness; this earthy bitterness is of medium duration and does leave a mild peppery flavour in the back of the mouth. Quite stereotypical Belgian blonde style beer tilted towards ’bitter blonde’; shows good balance of sweet, sour and bitter, too phenolic perhaps. Could have been worse.
