Wissey Valley Bottoms Up

Bottle. Dark amber with a small off-white foam. Aromas are light toffee malts with dry, earthy hops and some nuttiness. Flavours are lightly malty with nutty and metallic notes. A bit flat with some kit homebrew notes. Still, its one of the better Wissey bottled beers.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Alexandra Arms Kettering. A copper coloured beer which has slight hops on the nose and a clean crisp bitterness to the taste, but other than that it is quite plain and unassuming. The alcohol certainly doesn’t come through.
