3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy, golden-orange with a tall, frothy, white head the dissipates quickly. Aromas of sweet bread, apricot, and maybe a hint of orange. Taste is moderately sweet with flavors of orange and candied lemon. Has a medium body with a thick texture. Carbonation is lively, but not overly so. Finish is moderate with a touch of sourness as the flavors wane. Overall, a really nice beer. Although, I do find it a little bit "sticky" on the palate.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2013-07-01. Golden orange body, massive foamy beige head. Smooth average plus body. Sweetish flavour, pale malt throughout has biscuity bready accents. Pleasant aroma, sweet bready pale malt, mild fruit, very light alcohol. Fairly simple but enjoyable take on the style. Bottle from the LCBO, Toronto

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours golden with lots of carbonation and lacey head. Smells like a classic Belgian. Taste Is what you expect. Slightly sweet with a bit of bitterness on the end. A decent brew but there are better choices at this price point.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml served in a Tripel Karmeliet tulip.
A - Golden honey color with a firm 3 finger white head that leaves lines of sudsy lacing around the glass.
S - Dry spices-mainly clove. Dry and musty basement yeast, sugary dough, apricots, and peaches. Dried skunky herbs mellow out as it warms. Spicy alcohol vapors.
T - Sugary stone fruit-peaches, apricots, and persimmons. The clove and herbal spices lace the outside of a full and rich Pils malt while finishing nice and dry orange-flavors and light peppery alcohol.
M - Moderate carbonation helps lift the sweet and heavy body and turns almost creamy. Finishes slightly herbal and dry.
A wonderful Tripel! I thoroughly enjoyed this brew. Great fruity and funky yeast. Finished well and had a good mouth feel.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear straw gold with a thin pure white cap that clings lightly to the glass. The aroma is some yeasty esters, belgian brewing sugar, basement, feild, lemon, light floral and herbal hops. The flavour is herbal, light lemon, brewing sugar, yeasty esters, pepper. Nice foamy/smooth mouth feel carries the flavours across well.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour leaves a hazy unfiltered look. Pour doesn’t really settle well. Oily texture with sweet flavor. The appearance was offputting. Found it difficult to get past all the "floaties" in my mug. Overall, the taste was okay. Good beer, but didn’t quite make my recommended list.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
An odd duck. Pours clear golden with huge foamy head and lots of lacing. Nose is yeast and apple. Aromas are same plus some light pepper and maybe a hint of rye. Taste is light sweet with a longer bitter finish. Mouth is very heavily carbonated. Ok, but not the tripel I expected.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Single brown, wine-looking, bottle from the LCBO with a cork and cage. Pours a shinning golden colour with a big soapy head that fizzes away slowly and gives a bit of foam lacing. Mild aromas of spices (cloves, coriander), Belgian Ale yeast, apples and light citrus (oranges mostly). Smooth mouthfeel with a nice balance between oily and creamy. No burning at all and just slight warming. The taste is pretty fruity at first, but does calm down with time. Citrus, apples with the spices and nicely balanced bitterness, which creates a little dryness. Maybe not a full Tripel, but has a lot of the guts of one. A decent brew from the cauldron.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Poured a hazy bright golden color ale with a super large foamy head with good retention and some great lacing. Aroma of fruity ester with peppery yeast and sweet Belgian style malt notes are quite nice. Taste is a mix between some fruity ester and peppery yeast with some rustic Belgian malt notes with light residual candi sugar notes. Body is fuller then average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Well brewed and enjoyable without re-writing the style.
