Tap @ ZBF 2009.
Pours clear golden with a slight green hue. A nice, frothy, white head on top. Aroma has notes of brett and some soft, sweet wheat. Fat mouthfeel, but still with a rather lively carbonation. Sweet flavour, some good wheat. Heavy vinoiusness, but never reaching alcoholic. The sweet wheat it wonderfully balances by both the alcohol and a sharp, zesty lemon note. Lovely, balanced and elegant.

Bottle corked & caged from Natomas BevMo. Orange tinged golden color with a two finger white head. Aromas of pale malt, citrus, light stone fruits, and mild yeast. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet malt, light fruit, mild spicey hop - grassy? Each mouthful starts a bit sweet, but it reduces towards moderate astringency or bitter. Perhaps tilted a bit towards a tripel. The alcohol is not noticeable, except in my brain. Not a waste of money - it’s a pretty good ale.

Voluminös hefiger Antrunk, typisch belgisch wirkend. Etwas alkoholisch, süffig, süßlich und wenig kräuterartig. Zum Ende hefig und ausklingend aromatisch mit süß-saurer Note. 12/9/10/8//9

Bottle from Ray Henderson. Poured clear dark golden color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate sour citrus, yeast and alcohol aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium complex sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
