A recipe built off classic recipes from the proud city of Cologne, Germany. This lager-like ale is slightly fruity, crisp, and refreshing.

Draft - Light grains and citrus. Clearish pale gold with a decent white head. Light up front citrus and light grain. Crisp clean and refreshing.

Aroma is of sour green apple, bubblegum, and hay. Appears a bright hazy unfiltered yellow with a thin ring of white foam. Tastes of mildly sweet bubblegum followed by mildly bitter but lingering hay. Palate is lively; pretty fizzy. Overall, this practically tastes like a "Belgian Hefeweizen," if that makes any sense.

Tap at brewery. Opaque straw yellow. Nondescript nose. Very full body. Mild hops with even more mild corn. Yeasty. Good summer beer.

From notes. On tap at Witch’s Hat on March 17. The pour is a straw color with a thin ring of white head and surprisingly good lacing. The aroma is light, very lemony, with some good light hop notes. The flavor is somewhat similar. There is a bitter lemony aspect, but everything else is really light. The mouth is really watery and thin, with a solid medium carbonation and the aftertaste disappears quickly.

On tap at Witch’s Brew BP. Poured a golden color with a white head. Grains with a light citrus/fruitiness.

Sample draft at the brewery. Pours a slightly cloudy golden light orange color with almost no head. Aroma is faint, light fruit and pale malt. Very smooth taste, light on the tongue. Light fruity character and very easy to drink. More body than I expected and there is a slightly sticky mouthfeel which is nice. A nice light beer.
