3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap @ Witch’s Hat: Deep, deep brown, almost black, topped with a flimsy, khaki-colored film. Aroma is essentially all peanut butter... Smooth, lightly creamy peanut butter, nuts, & only a mild hint of roast behind it all. The taste is basically the same - peanut butter bomb, only without the usual sweetness of actual peanut butter. This is more of a dry, unsweet stout, very well attenuated. Nutty, peanut buttery finish with a hint of roasted barley & grains. Very dry finish. Good stuff, but I’d prefer this as a "bigger" stout with more residual sugars leftover.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From notes. On tap at Witch’s Hat on March 17. The pour is black with no head and no lace to be found. The aroma reminds me of Reese’s Puffs Cereal. There is just a malty chocolate and peanut butter presence. The flavor is very similar. It doesn’t have a lot of difference there; I’m jut getting notes that remind me of the cereal. The mouth feel is definitely a little thin, but the malty/bready aftertaste is definitely a little strange
