3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tasted as Witkap Pater Stimulo from tap and bottle. Golden coloured session beer since 1981, a (’false’) abbey blonde, with a dense, cream white head and a malty and fruity aroma, yeasty, sweetish with grassy hop bitterish finish, smooth and quenching. Sometimes sourish due to infection, but they seem to have this under control now. Exhales the typical straightforwardness and ’old school style’ typified by this quiet brewery.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, as Stimulo. Light yellow color. Aroma is fresh (mostly from the yeast) and quite sour. Cactus, citrus, lime, borderline urine (!). It reminds me of "Napoleon" candy. Not bad though. Taste is sour again, you get many of the elements from the aroma but (thankfully) more moderately. A little watery even, what I’m missing is a gentle alcoholic kick and creamy touch from the yeast. However, this beer would suit a big meal during summer time extremely well. It’s a straight thirst quencher, and the sour undertone of the taste would accompany fatty (/oily) fish meals perfectly.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at poecherellekelder. Hazy blond with a frothy white head. Fresh fruity aroma, a little toast and peach. Bitter, a little yeasty and some whiye fruit in the mouth, followed by a little astringent sensation. Full body and refreshing.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy, between a white beer and a lager. This goes for the aroma as well. The yeast is dominant, but there are nice notes of white grapes, lemon zest, spruce. Bubbly in the mouth Medium dry finish. Nice and refreshing

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
11.2 oz bottle from notes. Pours a hazy straw golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have lemony citrus, some additional fruit, straw, bread, yeast, ok, but not something to revisit.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Funky, wild, sour yeasts. Tastes almost like a lambic/ pale ale hybrid, with lemon zest and floral notes dominating, authentic for the style.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours clear pale with a thin white head. Aromas are reminiscent of la chouffe: bubblegum, burnt tire, grass, spruce. Mild sweetness with a somewhat muted flavor profile. Grass and some pine flavors come through, along with yeast. Finishes with a dry linger with some chalkiness and lingering alcohol. Light body with a thin mouthfeel and active carbonation. Overall, not my favorite beer. Really muted flavor and aroma profile, and not particularly pleasant flavors.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours cloudy yellow with a foamy, long lasting white head. Nose is like a "wit"-beer, iron, grains, bit of lemon. Taste is metal-like, citrus, grains, grass, wood. Boring beer, nothing special.
