3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Moderate to heavy grain and hay for the malt, moderate herbs anda hint of lemon for the hops, light to moderate dough for the yeast, with notes of white wine, coriander and starfruit. Head is large, fizzy turning into a rocky raft, white with excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Color is murky pale yellow/amber. Palate is faintly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes moderately acidic. Palate is light to medium, watery with a fizzy carbonation. Nice fruity aroma and refreshing flavor and palate make this a pretty good Belgian Ale.

My brother bought a 750ml bottle of this to share. Enjoyed a glass with him and a handful of my closest friends. We all thought it very smooth ale with good taste. Would be interesting in trying the Dubbel or Tripel.

Bit weird. Drank this as stimulo, but got forwarded to this single version of witkap. Isnít cloudy at all like some describe, just a very clear and golden beer. Very citrusy. Not uncommon in beer, but this one has a wider more different pallet then most. Taste almost orangy. Fruity with a mellow bitter finish, but not with bittering hops like most beers do. Itís nice, fresh and different. Quite some carbonation. Nice summer beer.

Troebel blond biertje die je goed moet uitschenken. De smaak is niet bijzonder, wel zacht

Golden coloured cloudy beer with a firm white head. Fresh yeasty aroma. Flavour is yeasty, wheathy and a bit lime-like. Reminds me a bit of Belgian White. Nice one. (Bottle 33cl)

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
11.2oz bottle. Date notched in bottle is October 2011. Mostly clear yellow orange color. Thin bubbly white head. Little lace. Aroma of lemon and cleaning product. Yeasty, bready (straight doughy, really) flavor, light white pepper, little lemon zest. Medium body. Light, crisp carbonation. Very light carbonation, kind of watery or flat, really. Lightly tart taste, some sweet, just not very pleasant overall... Some acidity in there, wood. Soapy and dusty. Nope, not working for me
