CampbellWilson (533), Scotland Jan 4, 2006 Bottle from Beers of Europe. ’Stimulo’. Hazy yellow with persistant head. Aroma of apricot, funky yeast. The finish is excellent with both acidic and hoppy notes. Lovely drop.
armando629 (427), Budapest, Hungary Sep 29, 2008 The beer i’ve tasted in Amsterdam was called Witkap Pater Stimulo. Pale yellow hazy appearance with a nice head. Spicey, peppery aroma. Fine mouthfeel but a bit watery texture, appel-lemony taste with a sweet flavor of yeast and some malt. Angeloregon (1969), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 25, 2008 Bottle from By the Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a light lemony white-golden hue. Hazy with a thick white head. Spicy, yeasty nose. MIldly peppery with some bubblegum phenols. Very smooth and enjoyable. SDW (1), , Belgium does not count Sep 19, 2008 For me, as an expirienced taster of Belgian beers, this is simple the best. To specify, lets say the best beer to drink easily at a terras with a little sunshine. I agree it isn’t the best beer if you compare it to the traditionel trappist, but I prefer a Witkpa to a havy trappist. luttonm (47), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 16, 2008 33cl bottle. fruity and lush moving to a light, dry finish. hint of mint and lemon. color is light (lemon) and cloudy (unfiltered).
