Zeer helder lichtgele kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt kruiden, mout, beetje hop. Smaakt bitterzoet, iets kruiden.

330ml bottle at Café De Spuyt in Amsterdam (€4.00): Very enjoyable from the start, really fresh and lively with a crisp and clean feel that helped it go down remarkably easy. The fruit flavours and touches of sweetness worked well together and the balance of the beer was excellent, this is definitely on that I wouldn’t mind trying again.

Bottle. Delicate estery aroma with some cereal grains. Hazy yellow under a persistent, pristine cover that is lacy. Gentle herbal and celery flavour with some corn and a very low bitterness. Harmonious and clean. Light body, medium high carbonation, crisp.

Pours a light golden coloured beer with a lasting white foam head. Citrus, fine yeast, a little bread, light spice and a smooth bitter finish.

bottle at home. Pours whitish gold with a nice steady fine white head. Decent yeast aroma and fresh malts. Very nice. Light body, imminent slight bitter touch, little yeast funk. Taste is little citrus zeste, loads of saison alike yeast flavours. Nice light beer.

This is a spicy abbey ale, golden, yeasty, rather nice. They may be overdoing the yeast in the bottles, though, occasionally: I had two of them spouting. Nice label, better than most abbey beers.

Bottle: Slightly cloudy, golden-yellow with a small white head. Yeasty, bready, dusty basement aroma. Lemon, yeast, lemon-peel....very dry.....slightly bitter hay flavour. Minimal, if any, spicing.....almost saison-like, even without the spice.
