3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: SEP 18, 2005 Poured with a chunky white head that hung around for a while. The ale itself was cloudy with heavy yeast percipitation (falling in clumps to the bottom). The nose was very bread-like, from the yeast, but was enjoyable. This beer is sour but managed to not annoy. Cloves and lemons show up at the after party. A very enjoyable session beer.
9/18/05 rerate: this beer was only alright this time. medicine like w/ a spicy linger. Someone help me get this in a Trp.?

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
0,33l bottle. Hazy yellow colour with lasting small white head. Aroma: Citrus, fruits, spices, yeast. Taste: Sweet start with a well balanced light bitter/sour mouthfeel. Has a pleasent yeasty/sour caracter. It has a light corny tone too. Light body with average carbonation. Short light bitter/sour and a bit dry finish. Interesting and good light belgian ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from de Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer is hazy yellow colored and has a stable and large white head, with nice carbonation.
The aroma is floral and fruity but also a lot of yeast is noticable and in the background spices like coriander.
Taste is light bodied and light sweet with a nice fruitiness and has some nice refreshing citrus notes and it ends a little spicy.
The finish is light dry and light bitter with spices.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Rated from old notes. Yeasty, with a faint hint of clove. Reminded me vaguely of a Witbier. Finish is watery. Not much going on here. Decent but rather dull.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Reasonable, but ultimately pretty characterless. Smooth, a little watery (which is odd, considering its strength).
