3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
330 ml bottle into chalice, no bottle dating. Pours moderately cloudy golden amber color with a thin white head with poor retention, that reduces to a thin ring of lace. Minimal lacing on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of apricot, pear, apple, white grape, clove, pepper, honey, bread, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of malt and fruity/spicy yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of pear, apple, apricot, white grape, clove, light pepper, honey, bread, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of pear, apple, apricot, white grape, clove, honey, bread, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and malt flavors; with a good malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and moderately crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this was a good tripel. Good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Almost as good as the Maredsous Triple which I had before this one. The foam doesn't last as long and it's taste is less strong, but still look alike a lot. I'd buy this again with pleasure.

In fles 33cl. Troebele gele kleur. Luchtige schuimkop. Fris van smaak met een mooie combo tussen zuur en hop en een mooie knisper.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
30cl bottle (shared)
Appearance. hazy white with a a good frothy white head.
Aroma of yeast, citrus fruits, coriander, and some rubber (?) in the background
Taste: Lemon and koriander, some sweetness and a bit of yeast, finishing with a very slight bitter finish.
Medium body and caronation.
Really this a very easy to drink beer. But It doesn’t taste like a average Belgian Triple, no it’s much more a Belgian White beer.
Still a ok brew, but I would say a odd one for it’s class.

Bottle. Hazy pale golden, small foamy white head, lasts a while and reduces to thin layer, some lacing; sweet malty nose, followed by banana, bread, hints of fruit, some dough, grass, citrus, spices notably coriander; buttery sweetbitter taste with a touch of acidity; well-balanced, medium to full body, oily texture and creamy mouthfeel, slightly bitter finish, still creamy, some acidity and hints of fruit. One of my favourite tripels.
