Bottle at a tasting. Thanks Dror. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is a bit stale with some malt and fruits. Sweetish spicy flavor with some malt, yeasty notes and a bit of sourness. Finishes dry. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Need to try a fresher bottle.

Bouteille de 33cl. Couleur orangée, mousse correcte. Arômes citronnés et des épices typiques belges. Une abbaye tout à fait honorable. Trouvée à Vanuxeem-Ploegstaert.

Hazy and gold - super thick head. Clean aroma of light fruit - barely there - like pineapple. Taste has a light flavor of berries - as if it’s watered down raspberries. Delicate, nice, easy drinking - and at 7.5%, you’d never know what hit you.

Bottle sampled with Beerded_one. Pours pale golden with an average sized white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and spices. Flavor is smooth, citrus, pine-like, belgian spices and some bitter hoppy dryness in the finish. Good body, good brew.

Bottle @ home. Hazy, yellow-orange appearance with a big white head. Sweet Belgian yeasty nose with some citrus fruity esters. Orange/lemon citrus zesty, yeasty, light bitterness flavor. Yeasty, Belgian ale, lightly bitter finish.

33 cl bottle labeled "Abbey-Triple-Ale". Pours clear golden yellow with crisp white head. Floral grass aroma, taste of most minutely sour malt. Nice beer.

33cl bottle: This one poured a fairly clear straw yellow color. There was a surprising lack of head on it, which of course led to almost no lacing. The aroma is lighter, with mainly yeasty notes. Slightly astringent. Taste is a bit harsh. Slight bitterness, grainy, sour, some astringency. I would never call this a tripel. I’m not quite sure what I’s call it. I would never call for this again, however.
