2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 DSG (2636) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUN 21, 2011
Bottle at a tasting. Thanks Dror. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is a bit stale with some malt and fruits. Sweetish spicy flavor with some malt, yeasty notes and a bit of sourness. Finishes dry. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Need to try a fresher bottle.

Bouteille de 33cl. Couleur orangée, mousse correcte. Arômes citronnés et des épices typiques belges. Une abbaye tout à fait honorable. Trouvée à Vanuxeem-Ploegstaert.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 taphandle (991) - Texas, USA - MAY 31, 2011
Hazy and gold - super thick head. Clean aroma of light fruit - barely there - like pineapple. Taste has a light flavor of berries - as if it’s watered down raspberries. Delicate, nice, easy drinking - and at 7.5%, you’d never know what hit you.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 loulan (126) - SPAIN - MAY 1, 2011
Bottle sampled with Beerded_one. Pours pale golden with an average sized white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and spices. Flavor is smooth, citrus, pine-like, belgian spices and some bitter hoppy dryness in the finish. Good body, good brew.

1.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 boto (1551) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - MAR 26, 2011
33cl bottle: This one poured a fairly clear straw yellow color. There was a surprising lack of head on it, which of course led to almost no lacing. The aroma is lighter, with mainly yeasty notes. Slightly astringent. Taste is a bit harsh. Slight bitterness, grainy, sour, some astringency. I would never call this a tripel. I’m not quite sure what I’s call it. I would never call for this again, however.
