Piwo jest ciemnobrązowe, prawie czarne, ale pod światło jest ciemnorubinowe, przejrzyste i klarowne. Piana średnia, raczej mało obfita i szybko opadająca, choć malutka warstwa pozostaje do końca. W aromacie lekka kwaskowatość. Ta sama kwaskowatość i sos sojowy wyczuwalne są w smaku i niestety mocno mi to przeszkadza. Goryczka praktycznie niewyczuwalna, a bardzo by się tutaj przydała, żeby skontrować te dominujące nuty. Posmak w ustach nijaki. Ogólna ocena niestety nie wypada najlepiej, to zdecydowanie nie jest piwo dla mnie, piłem sporo dużo lepszych porterów bałtyckich.

SangreSani (83) - Głowienka, POLAND - JAN 21, 2015
Black with beige head and nice lacing. Dark coffee aroma. Chocolate and roasted hints. Medium bitter. Light sweetness. Nicely hidden alcohol. Medium carbonation and body. Not bad but not a miracle in porters’ world. It’s just quite ok.

Had this as Witnicki Porter Lubuskie. Huge thanks to kevnic2008 for that one! Bottle looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, almost black, nice head. Starts intense malty, quite roasty, bitter-dry background. Some hints of liquorice. Also some earthy notes. Finish more balanced, less dry, still intense malty. Bitter aftertaste. Nice one!

Lubuski Porter Aroma: some coffe, some chocolate, dark bread, diacetyl (milk, sour cream) kinda fits in in this beer. Appearance: almost black with ruby reflekses (looks like coca-cola), minimal head immediatly disappears. taste: sweet, coffe, bread from malts, nothing special. Slight diacetyl again. Alcohol not hidden enough, although not as strong as in Żywiec Porter. Palate: as for baltic porter light body and high carbonation. Overall: average baltic porter, not that bad as for 18*BLG.

* Old rating, many thanks to kevnic2008. Rated as Witnicki Porter 18,1%. Best before 18.01.11. Etwas scharfes, leicht dickflüssiges Bier. Dunkle Pflaumen, leicht schokoladig, scharf herb im Nachgeschmack.

vipinvelp (2446) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 26, 2014
Dark (black) ruby red, light brown lacing lasting foam head. Strong coffee aroma, barley and nutty tones. Nice bittersweet barley taste, little coffee and nutty notes. Lasting aftertaste, light caramel. (Velp 201412)

330 ml bottle. Pours dark brown with nice off-white head. Aroma of chocolate and grain coffee with very weak dark fruits notes. Taste is sweet, with low bitterness. Body medium, low carbonation. It’s ok, but could be more dry and with more roasty notes.

czlowiekwiadro (263) - POLAND - DEC 21, 2014

To much alcohol in this beer, in Aroma and in Taste as well. It has a brown reflects, it’s not pretty dark. Carmel is the dominant flavor of this beer

koshack (275) - Gdańsk, POLAND - DEC 15, 2014
Piana drobna, bezowa. szybko opada. Zostawia ślady na szkle. Kolor brunatny, nieprzejrzyste. W aromacie ciemne słody, czekolada, Lekko słodka nuta. Trochę jak pralinki, ale bardziej słodkie niż alkoholowe. Wyczuwalny chmiel. W smaku ciemne słody, lekka kawa. Karmel. Lekko wędzone. Alkohol wyczuwalny, lekko drapiący. Trochę za słodkie.
