75cl bottle bought from Pol the day he bottled it, July 30 2012. Sampled April 8 2013.
Shady green/yellow, white head. Citrus and coriander in aroma. Medium carbonation, had wanted more. Fresh, refreshing, sweet and balanced.
A really good witbier. One of my favorites! Sadly only available at the brewery.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
One of the more refreshing and interesting Witbiers I can remember, but it was a balmy day in the Ardennes when I arrived at Pol and Tine’s Grand Café. Leaned more toward citrus than herbs. Sparkling, pale and bright rather than hazed. Off-dry with a nice light acidity.

Wheaty aroma. Some sour flavours, some wheat flavour. Nothing too exciting.

17/VI/2012 - 75cl bottle from La Vieille Forge/Grand Café (Houffalize) @ Akke’s BBQ - BB: 5/I/13 (2012-635)
Cloudy yellow beige beer, small white head, unstable, dissipates immediately, non adhesive. Aroma: little sweet, lots of orange peel, some spices, grains, coriander. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of spices, coriander, bit sweet, citrus, pretty watery though. Aftertaste: some coriander, watery finish. Meh.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I got this one @ Inter-pol in the Belgian Ardennes. And i think i also got it @ Modest Beer Festival in 2011. Nice re-freshing beer, bready texture, nice aroma and spicy though.. Not overly special, but there is also nothing wrong with it.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: FEB 23, 2012 Bottle at bed & breakfast. Coriander and citrus on the nose. Pours a cloudy gold with a thick white head. Citrusy and wheat up front with nice corriander peppery note. Very refreshing. Great wit! If you are in ardennes you must stop by and see the brewery!

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: APR 19, 2011 75cl bottle
Cloudy light yellow color with a decent white head. Aroma of a normal white with some coriander and wheat. Overall lacks some flavor, very weak notes of wheat and spices. Very thin body but with a soft mouthfeel.
A very gentle to weak white that in my opinion lacks both flavor and body.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Good fine white head over near-clear yellow-golden beer. End of bottle more haze. Coriander, citrus, wheat, very classical, nowhere exagerated. Citrus dominant in the flavours, coriander only comes out in the finish. Quite refreshing, wheat slickness. Overall is as the nose has been defined: classical, but integrated, not too much coriander, OK white, maybe as an old Celis witte.
