The Fruity Pink! Thanks JPDipso! (Recently found) Pours a dark red almost pink color, small white head. Flavor is like a raspberry soda, no alcohol, no charachter. Fruity Pink.

A raspberry white in a can? Hmm... interesting. What’s this? They actually admit to using artificial sweeteners and flavors? Now I’m getting worried. Better pour... Pours a cloudy pink with a creamy white head. Nice aroma of acidic raspberries, almost lambic-like. Taste is raspberries, aspartame, and dry toffee. Adding the sweetener to this beer was a HUGE mistake, in my opinion. Turns this beer into the bastard child of beer and "malternatives". However, looking past the sweetener, there’s not a whole lot of incredible flavor here anyways. So looking at the pink can, the figure on the can, and the overall advertising, this is Belgium’s adaptation of Smirnoff Ice. The ultimate chick beer. "The Fruity Pink"?!? That pretty much says it all, and that’s just what I’d probably call any guy I caught drinking this for pleasure. I’ll stick to something with hops intead of aspartame.

Pours pink grapefruit juice with a minimal white head (some stray bubbles). Nose of lemon, wheat, cranberry, and raspberries. Quite tart but mostly sweet. It’s 10% of "the purest raspberry fruit" what the hell does that mean. I’ll kill myself if they didn’t 100% of the purest aspartame. Tinny sweet "alco-pop" Although it deserves somewhere in the low 1’s for being an abomination, it does have some qualities that carry this limping corpse of a beer.

Bottle. Too much rasberry flavoured fairy floss, candy sugar. Syruppy rasberry cordial, too sweet.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2005 Damn whatamyone else says I like this. It did make me slightly embarresed to buy it because of the pink can obviously marketted at women. Also I know the bottled version would taste better. While the can gives it a slightly tinny taste the quality still comes through. The flavor tastes natural, unlike Lenies which tastes like nutra sweet. However it is a little too sweet. If they water it down slightly they could challenge the Lindemans. All in all pretty good

BB May 2005. Slightly hazy orange color, medium lasting pinkish head. Aroma is sweet, sugar, some raspberry. Sweet taste, slightly sour, fruity of raspberry. Sticky palate. Actually quite drinkable.

Aroma of over-ripe raspberries. Pours an outstanding light red, with a pinkish head that last a long time. Sweet & tangy, like pure fruit juice with a beer chaser. This is very, very similar to Leinenkugels Berry Weiss. A little too tangy though. I got mine at the Grape & Grain in Mequon, WI.. Cans: 8.5 ounces each. At only 8 1/2 oz. drinking one or 2 is an easy treat. Any more than that and it gets sickening. I recommend giving this a try if you like raspberries. Something even better in the raspberry/beer department is Founders Rübæus. Try them both!

Bottled (BB 05/2006)
Hazy red-bonk, small reddish head. Quite fresh rasberry aroma, but lemonade-like. Sweet rasberry juice flavor, sugary (saccarine), in the finish artifical plastic notes. Harshness in the aftertaste . "Beer" for kids.

Pretty good raspberry aroma at first then got a bit too sweet. Flavor is watered down, tart and a bit sour. Flavor got almost medicinal towards the end.
