Also marketed as Rosarda in the UK
A blend of regular Wittekerke, the best Belgian wheat beer, known for its fruity aroma and taste, together with 10% of the purest Raspberry fruit, and a dash of the Petrus Aged Pale ale, the original mother beer that is aged in oak for up to 3 years. This combination is made in heaven, beer-heaven at the Bavik brewery in Belgium.

Bottle. Dark rose coloured beer with a lightish head. The aroma is dry sweet raspberry, and the flavour is very sweet and tart raspberry with a slight element of bitterness at the finish. Overall a reasonable fruit beer.

2010-02-21. Pinkish golden body, small off white head with light pinkish touches. 3+ Fruity raspberry, sweet, light candyish notes. Flavour is quite sweet with just a touch of raspberry tartness, light bitterness. Average palate. Sugary, alcopop really, not offensive but not particularly good either. Meh. Bottle shared from LCBO

Small can; poured a somewhat murky amber color with a big white head. Aroma of raspberry, and a bit of fruit, flowers, and yeast. Flavor was less dominated by the raspberry and quite tasty actually. Some sweetness and sugariness, with a good wheat balance. Enjoyable beer overall.

Serving type: 250ml bottle, bought at the LCBO Poured a hazy pink, with about a 2 inch foam head. This was the first fruit beer I’ve tasted. It was extreamly sweet, as expected. Tasted like one of those coolers you can buy. I really don’t think they needed to add the Aspertame to it. I guess the taste was ok if you like fruity drinks.

20th October 2008. Cloudy pink brown beer. Super sweet, which is fine by me, but with a saccharine dryness, which is not. This turns a little acidic. Raspberry beer pop!

Container and concept=horrible. Finished product-lovely, a touch less fruity and more balanced [maybe due to the addition of juice, alas] than, say, Lindemans.

Keg at new Wheatsheaf (though also available in the next door Katsjammers German beer cellar). Hmm. Tinned raspberries and raspberry ice-lolly. Sweet start. Good fun and very drinkable.
