2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Spab (1118) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 12, 2009
250 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a murky pinkish gold with quickly disappearing white head. Candyish raspberry aroma. Sweet raspberry taste. Refreshing and falvourful, but you’d be forgiven for thinking you weren’t drinking beer. Not terrible but probably wouldn’t have this again.

250 ml bottle from the LCBO. bottle conditioned which was a suprise. pours pink with a lasting white head. spitzy. aroma of tart raspberry juice. flavour of sweet raspberry juice. the aspertane reduces the palatte score. its like a low cal raspberry cocktail. i like it as a summer lunch beverage but its not really a beer.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Gregis (1250) - Shawnee, Kansas, USA - AUG 21, 2009
Pours a cloudy orange-gold with a frothy white head that collapses to a thin skin. The aroma smells like a saccharine-sweet raspberry diet soda with just a touch of citrus and spice hiding WAY in the back (like beer hiding in the back of the nose on a shandy/cyclist). Light-bodied and tart it has a very drying finish. The flavor tastes like an artificially sweetened framboise spritzer. If you want a tart raspberry soda, here it is.

Canned, and by far the gayest presentation I’ve seen.. BB 11/15/09. Poured pink-tinged peach with, well, a pinkish-tinged off-white head.. cloudy complexion. The aroma picked up fresh, tart raspberry seeds and spicy wheat over some raspberry meat.. dusty Belgian yeast laced through there. The flavor was centered around tart, fresh raspberries and wheat, with a dry, grainy character at the core.. finished tangy and refreshing. Light-bodied and well-balanced on the palate, but the mouthfeel was lacking at times.. slightly cardboardey about 3/4 of the way through and a hair watery at times. As it warmed up, artificial sweetener emerged (think Aspartame), but this brew was already scored, and I had no real problems with it cold.

This is bad... I only bought it because I found it interesting that it was in 6 packs of Red Bull style cans... and it’s terrible. Tastes artificial, thin, and the predominant flavor is... is... disgust?
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 tarjei (1941) - Bryne, NORWAY - AUG 7, 2009
Tap at The Wharf, Aalborg. Red pink color, lovely white head. Aroma is fruit and berries, but also some malt. Flavor is raspberry, fruit, lots of sweetness that goes well with the high carbonation. A very special beer, and I understand that some peaple hate it, but I find it very refreshing, and mus admit that I drank this beer with a smile...

Bottle. This was a serious drain pour. Way too sweet and why is there aspartaime in this beer, disgusting!

250 ml bottle at the LCBO - "The Friuty Pink Beer".... hmmm... Sounds like the manliest drink ever. Pours with a nice reddish pink hue and a decent head. The aroma is, of course, a big raspberry hit. The taste is somewhat strange; almost like sugar-free chewing gum. You can really taste the aspartame in it. This isn’t entirely a bad thing, but it’s not a good thing either. It’s decent for what it is, but not something I would normally drink.
