COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Also marketed as Rosarda in the UK
A blend of regular Wittekerke, the best Belgian wheat beer, known for its fruity aroma and taste, together with 10% of the purest Raspberry fruit, and a dash of the Petrus Aged Pale ale, the original mother beer that is aged in oak for up to 3 years. This combination is made in heaven, beer-heaven at the Bavik brewery in Belgium.

clear orange with a pink hue, creamy off white head, drippy white lace, sweet yet tart raspberry aroma, creamy body, nice tart raspberry flavor, a bit of the wheat character tries to emerge but blends with the raspberry tartness instead, even though the raspberry is the dominant profile it still lets a bit of the beer to show through

Pink and pink with a white head. Lots of sugary and raspberry notes throughout with a slightly acidic citrus note, likely from the petrus. A little to sweet for me but some may like the alcopop nature of it.

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2010 Draught at Den Tatoverede Enke. Same beautiful color and head with fine lacings. Aroma and flavor more balanced. Rich fruity, but fresh and light acidic. A real summer drink. -- Draught sample at Brewpub, thanks. Pink with a large rose head. Aroma and flavor heavy sweet of raspberry. Light body. Like Le Chapeau. 4-3-4-2-7, total 2.

Bottle, 330 ml, pasteurised at Cafe des Amis, Valkenburg, NL Limburg. Clouded pink with light pink head. Tarty raspberry, very powerfull on the nose and very sweet in the body. Much too overpowering for me, but my wife loves it, so there has to be a market for it.

Pink/amber/red colored brew. The Petrus Aged Pale Ale isn’t there anymore. Hints of wheat and hoppy fruity aroma and flavor. Raspberry fruits indeed. It isn’t bad for a fruit beer.

Pink colour and a white-pinkish head. Very artificial aroma and taste. Not my kind of beer. (can 25cl)

On tap at Max’s Baltimore. Not sure why this one is rating so low because I thought this was an excellent fruit beer. Poured a hazy amber/rose color with a slight pinkish head. Aroma is of natural raspberries. Flavor is tart from the raspberry but still has a good touch of hoppy/maltiness about it. This beer had a natural flavor about it not that artificial fruit flavor like lots of other crappy summer wheats I have tried lately. I would drink this one again for sure.

In a pink energy drink can. A sweet raspberry aroma. A little artificial like the jelly in a donut. Is a reddish yellow color. Does not look like a beer. Very sour initially. Raspberry flavor follows. Is not as artificial tasting as it smells. There is a little bit of sweetness at the end, but mostly just sour raspberries. It reminds me a bit of a fruity lambiic, but not as good. Like one of the other raters said, I would probably just rather have a Belgian Wit or a Lambic. This does not really work. A wierd old musty flavor is there too. This is just plain odd.
