250ml bottle from Beers of Europe. A pleasant and refreshing beer. A prickly carbonation. Good pineapple fruit. Some yeast in the finish. A nice rough character. A decent drink

Bottle, bought @ Dagli’Brugsen, Nordborg.
Pours hazy, pale yellow. A small, fizzy, disappearing, off-white head. Aroma has quite a lot of caramel, toffee and light yeastiness. Okay, but a bit thin mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly oxidized, toffee and lots of honey. Really isn’t that nice.

Moderate haze. Aroma waxy and honeyish. None of the cereally sweetness of the standard Wittekerke, but some smoke, malt and honey. A bit medicinal and antiseptic-tasting. No real witbier character, it’s more like a Barbar shandy. Prefer it without the honey.

33 cL bottle, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium. Pours almost clear yellow with a lacing white head. Light yeasty note with a mild hoppy note inbetween. Flavour is slight soapy with a note of hops and a milder note of spices. Finish is mild bitter with a lingering spice note.
