75 cl. bottle from fabulous NETTO, poured in to a weizen glass. Hazy, orange-golden colour with a big, dense white head. Fruity aroma with yeasts, wheat, spices, banana and citrus. Vague alcohol. Taste is light sweet- Medium body with a creamy texture and lively carbonation. Finishes lightly bitter with spices - pepper, wheat. A little bit of alcohol. Nice Witbier.

Bamsen78 (3106) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 2, 2013
Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast, hops, malt and banana. Sweet flavour of malt, banana, caramel, and alcohol. Fruity and floral notes towards the finish, which is rather bitter. High carbonation. OK but a rather boozy thing.

Landmonger (156) - USA - MAY 15, 2013
Poured from a 750 ml bottle, very cloudy straw color, no head to speak of, the aroma is some citrus and bread, it is sweet, tangy and a funky after taste, the carbonation is very smooth and warmth from alcohol on the way down.

5000 (6241) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - APR 28, 2013
Bottle:   Dark straw, dirty looking, large white foamy head.   Looks like an American example in that its not pale enough.   Wheaty nose, no real spices.   Very faint citrus aspect.   Very dull on the tongue.   Wheaty overall, but not spicy.   Well hidden 7.5% ABV.   Finish just as it started, wheaty and without much spicy excitement.   Not one of the better Witbiers to come out of Belgium.   Not bad, but very boring.

Bottle @ home picked up at Wine and Cheese STL. Thanks to jcnielsen to sending it to me. Pours a hazy cloudy, somewhat dark orange appearance with a big tan head. Fairly spicy, floral, potpourri, freshly cleaned carpet, a bit fruity aroma. Somewhat oxidized, a bit old, a bit goopy malty, orange fruity, fairly spicy flavor. This one has been sitting for a while, so it’s definitely deteriorated but I’m not sure it would that amazing fresh.
