drowland (6575) - Georgia, USA - DEC 21, 2011
12/21/11. 750mL bottle. Very hazy orange pour with a thick, creamy barely off-whire head that cuts in half but sticks forever and laces in cloudy sheets. Aroma of light baked breads, floral orange peel, biscuits, pale malts, and a touch of phenolics. Sweet, bready flavor with a touch of salty chicken soup, coriander, orange peel, and sweet cream. Meh.

5000 (6300) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - APR 28, 2013
Bottle:   Dark straw, dirty looking, large white foamy head.   Looks like an American example in that its not pale enough.   Wheaty nose, no real spices.   Very faint citrus aspect.   Very dull on the tongue.   Wheaty overall, but not spicy.   Well hidden 7.5% ABV.   Finish just as it started, wheaty and without much spicy excitement.   Not one of the better Witbiers to come out of Belgium.   Not bad, but very boring.

Thanks to mar for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a hazy orange color with a large white head. The aroma is has quite a bit of wheat in it, as well as some coriander and citrus notes. The flavor is more of the same. The wheat and coriander notes really stand out, although there is a little bit of lemon and orange as well. The yeast notes add some nice spice notes to the flavor. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

PorterPounder (5880) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 9, 2012
Tallahassee, Fl - Market Square Liquors - 750 ml cage corked bottle. Light orange murky pour - soft snow white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is lemony and yeasty, a hint of coriander. Flavor is full bodied and fresh. Pick up some lemony accents, a bit of sweet cookie dough, some coriander spiciness, slightly salty in the finish. Mouthfeel is thick and velvety. Pretty solid.
