Cloudy pale look with fizzy 1 finger head with no lacing fades fast. Sweet citrusy biscuity aroma with a touch grass. Light sweet floral notes with no alcohol taste. Light body with a spritzy delicate average finish. Good warm wheather after mowing the lawn brew.

PapaVillum (439) - Valby, DENMARK - NOV 25, 2013
75 cl, flaske, 7,5 %, købt i Netto ved Hellerup Station, 25. november 2013. Karamel-farvet ufiltreret belgisk Dubbel Wit Ale med ca. 1 1/2 cm flot hvid tætskummet skumkrone. Aroma af citrus, sirup og koriander. Grapefrugt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

My rating does not conform to my peers. I found this brew to be delicious. The beer is a cloudy light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma has clove, banana, Belgian spice and fruit. The flavor follows without the sugary sweetness dome of this style have. The finish is dry and refreshing.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 7/4/2014. Pours extremely hazy golden orange color with a nice 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of orange, pear, apple, lemon, orange rind, apple skin, coriander, light banana, floral, wheat, bread, pepper, clove, and earthy yeast esters. Nice and pleasant aromas; with good balance and complexity of malt, spices, and yeast esters. Taste of pear, apple, orange zest, lemon, light banana, wheat, coriander, bread, honey, floral, light clove, and earthy yeast esters. Lingering notes of light fruits, citrus, wheat, coriander, light clove, bread, honey, and earthy yeast esters on the finish for a bit. Very nice balance and complexity of flavors; with a good malt/spice balance, but feels a bit toned down in flavor for 7.5%; with zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy and smooth mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very good high gravity witbier. Very nice balance and complexity of flavors; and very smooth and easy to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

750 graciously shared by Anndiesel. Unfiltered, deep orange color. Big, foamy, off white head. Wheaty orange aroma. Itís a decent beer, more of a one and a half than a double. Decent beer, some orange-lemon-lime citrus tones. Almost like a Belgian version of a Bruery beer, if that makes any sense. Sugary. An OK beer, but at 9.99 a 750ml, itís way overpriced.
