3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 GG (1980) - NorCal, California, USA - DEC 29, 2009
Shrink-wrapped sixer. Very easy to find at most BevMo’s in California, I picked this up at the last second before heading out of a friends house. Aroma is clearly dominated by the citrusy orange/lemon angle. Body is a pale yellow golden color with a huge 2" off white merengue head. Very impressive looking in my Duvel glass. Very citrusy on the palate, with just a smidge of the classic corriander and lacking any pepperyness. Clean wheat malts seem to avoid any conflict with the citrus in this beer. Clean, crisp finish....easy drinking.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Prometheus (160) - Fayetteville, North Carolina, USA - DEC 28, 2009
Nice, hazy yellow color.
Very nice Belgian white. Drink with an orange slice.
Although nothing terribly complex about it, still one of my everyday favoriate beers, as I am partial to Belgian whites.

Location: On Tap at Capital Ale House, 12/26/09
Overall Impression:
This is one I have had plenty of times before, so I’m surprised I haven’t rated it. This is the first time I’ve had this one in a while, so I figured I’d grab a glass on tap. Its a hazy yellow beer, typical look and feel for a Belgian White. A nice beer, clean, wheaty, drinkable.
