Hangover (764), Atlanta, USA Dec 14, 2007 Bottled. Hazy lemon-orange color with a creamy white head. Lots of lemon in the aroma with a few nice notes of yeast and spiciness. Lots of carbonation, decent body. Slightly tart upfront. Leads into a bit more lemon, orange and coriander. Slightly sour finish, quick. Pretty refreshing, nice wit. reddragon (28), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Dec 14, 2007 Updated: Dec 18, 2007Bottled. Poured very lively with creamy head. Used Wittekerke frosted glass. Nice presentation. Lemony-sweet witbier flavor. Not overly characterful... great beer for beginners. Ughsmash (3983), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Nov 27, 2007 Canned. Poured hazy milky golden with a short cap of white head and rising carbonation. The aroma picked up semi-sweet banana, caramel, and lighter fruits with a bit of bubblegum and dried cloves just behind.. hit the style very well. The flavor found tart wheat and peppery spices on the tip of the tongue followed by banana, pear, and apple sweetness over the middle.. spices, wheat tartness, and dried fruit on the finish.. decent flow, but a bit too sweet. Sweet and grainy on the palate with a sweet finish.. decent brew. prosqtor (408), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA Nov 25, 2007 Light body, pours a cloudy lemonade into the mini-weizen glass from the tap. Grainy palate with wheaty doughy flavor and a tiny tiny tiny amount of lemony flavor. Barely above average. hellbilly (1502), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Nov 17, 2007 on tap @ papago. hazy lemonade color with a thin white head. lemony yeast aroma with some dried spice. flavor is the same followed by a dry herbaceous finish. light bodied. lots of carbonation 17thfloor (1403), Chicago, Illinois, USA Nov 15, 2007 Pours a golden dark yellow, small bubbles and a medium white meringue head. Lemon dominates the aroma. Malt, wheat and lemon is the entire flavor... those three come out very strong. Can definitely taste that yogurt sourness. The palate is a nice mouthful, not sticky like american copies, lots of fizzy carbonation that fluffs up the heavy bodiness of this wheat. Really unique. Crisp lemony finish. ARMed (485), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 10, 2007 Opaque yellow haze with a few chucks of yeast here and there, but whose counting! Excellently light and fruit concoction of mastery. Light, hazy and yeasty white ale with a fruity taste and aroma. Delicate but lasting brew with a nice fruity palate that resembles a combination of pineapple juice and beer! Enjoy Maverick34 (690), New York, USA Nov 4, 2007 Draft. Pours a pale watery looking yellow. Aroma was off in my glass. Tasted fairly citrusy/acidic. Not my favorite witte.
