Aroma of wheat and some light coriander. Taste is also dominated by some light wheat with some commendable spice mix in which coriander dominates. Body is a bit light with too much filtration with some adequate carbonation. Gregis (1132), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 13, 2007 Pours a cloudy light straw with a moderately sized, dense, white head. Musty, almost skunky, wheat and an effervescent Fresca-like citrus. Digging deeper I find a faint note of coriander, but this beer’s aroma is pretty muted compared to many wits. Light-bodied and thin with lively carbonation, the palate finishes just slightly tart and dry. Effervescent citrus fronts the flavor. While many wits exhibit distinct orange peel notes, this is a more generic blended citrus, followed by the dry spiciness of the coriander. A decent wit and certainly one of the better session beers available in cans here in KC, but overall, I wasn’t overwhelmed. malrubius (977), Valley Stream, New York, USA

Coriander lemon aroma. Very light honey-vanilla sweet and orange fruity and mild coriander finish. Very refreshing medium-light body and medium carbonation. For some reason I didn’t remember this as being this good. Damn good! A worthy substitute now that Bud has taken over Hoegaarden. nearbeer (1834), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 12, 2007 Small head that lasts well on top of a typical-looking witbier, except this one may be paler if that’s possible. Aroma is dry and spicy yeast and sharp citrus. Flavor is similar. Somehow this beer seems bland overall, yet has some sharp unidentified flavors that are not very tasty. I would have to agree this one seems to have those sorts of similarities to an American industrial brew. Palate is light and tingly, and could be refreshing if you like the taste. So-so wit. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 11, 2007 This witbier was basically a cross between a pissy american macro and a belgain white. Pours a cloudy light yellow with fizzy white head. Bland grain and macro piss with some sweet wheat notes and a bit of lemon citrus and spice. milewide (609), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
