Apr 11, 2007 Pours about the same color as lemonade. Very hazy with a faint head. Aroma is citrus and grains. Flavor is pretty refreshing. Natural citrus, wheat, light spice. Overall not too shabby.

Apr 11, 2007 33cl bottle. Smellof an...irritating alcohol. Not so great. Looks wonderful thouht. Tastes even better....mild taste of citrus and spice. Heavier on the yeast tastes. Mild carbination with light-medium body. A good witbier from the few I have had.

Apr 10, 2007 Cloudy pale lemon-yellow with a dense foamy pad generating thick lace. Lemon citrus and sweet spice aroma. Light and spritzy palate, ciitrus with coriander and bergamot, fresh wheatiness, clean finish. Very good-- refreshing.

Apr 2, 2007 Can. Poures a cloudy golden body with thin head. Aroma is of spices, corriander. Flavor is slighty sweet with a nice yeast backbone, corriander, citrus and some spices. Very mellow but decently smooth and drinkable.

Apr 1, 2007 Wheaty aroma. Hint of orange peel. Lightly floral. Cloudy, thick look. orange/yellow. Heavy lacing left. Beautiful head. Spicy flavor. slightly floral, sour. hints of orange. Slightly bitter. Lingering dry sour finish. nothing special. tastes like it smells.

Apr 1, 2007 25 cl. Light golden, hazy with a moderate head. The aroma is sweetish and the flavour has notes of fruit, banana, spice and citrus. It’s sweeter than the average wit and has less citrus, and it reminds me of Wittekerke Speciale.

Mar 19, 2007 A nice white beer. Pours a very cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Looks almost like lemon jiuce. Nice aroma with hints of lemon. Somewhat high carbonation on the palate. Very smooth taste with a crisp lemon finish. Would be a nice summer beer.

Mar 18, 2007 3/17/2007: Wittekerke Wit Bier pours a cloudy pale yellow color (sunny) with a quickly dissipating fizzy white head. This is also a strange oil-like sheen on the surface. The aroma is very metallic with some undertones of lemon, wheat and yeast. The flavor is a lot like the aroma with some mediocre wheat malt flavor with a hint of lemon and yeast. It is also slightly sweet. I flavor improves after it wams up a bit as some of the metallic bite seems to disappear, but it still isn’t that great. This beer has a really light body and not much carbonation. Wittekerke Wit is a very disappointing beer and probably one of the worst Wit/White beers I think I’ve ever had...
