Of course, I’ve been a bum about rating for awhile. This is an extremely cloudy tan beer with excellent head retention and lacing. Aroma of orange rind, diffuse spiciness and sweet bread. Flavor has just the right amount of tartness with more fresh orange (and hints of lemon as well). A bit light in the coriander/spices department, but still nice. Finish feels quite dextrinous and is perhaps the major detractor from an enjoyable and refreshing beer. BeerBelcher (937), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 26, 2006 This is the best wit I’ve ever had. I had this beer on draft, and I’m fearful that the canned 6-packs at my local liquor store (which I haven’t had) just don’t offer up the same experience.
I thought this beer was extremely solid, and the fact that it is named for a Flemish soap opera (translates to "White Church") just makes it that much cooler.
Beer appearance is cloudy and moderately dark yellow. Carbonation was tight (small bubbles), and offered up some nice lacing. Odor was sort of spicy...and I think was picking up the coriander. Flavor was great! Spicy and light at the same time. I really enjoyed this beer, but would be reluctant to go to the canned stuff at the liquor store...just doesn’t seem the same. cheapdark (2015), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

Precipitants & stuff settled in the bottom of my steeler mug. Decent flavor without any bitter finish. Seems very refined, tho unfiltered. ehhdayton (1113), USA
