Not much smell in this beer. Very dry tasting and similar to Heineken. Pours clear. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Woohoo! Belgian wit in a can! But really, it looks, smells, and tastes just like any other Belgian wheat beer, maybe a hint more lemon. Meh.

Draft at Hupple. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of artificial lemon, weeds and not much more. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

I poured an 11.2oz can into a tumbler. It had a best before date of 9/29/13 and cost $3.29 ($0.29 per ounce).

Appearance: Pale, washed-out yellow. Forms a large, white, foamy head which retains and laces quite well.

Smell: No skunkiness thankfully, but not much of anything else. Hints of wheat, but no spice or other appealing aromatics.

Taste: I thought this beer deserved another shot since the bottle I reviewed a few months ago was obviously old. It reeked of skunkiness and just tasted off. The can is definitely a step up, but not by leaps and bounds. All the spoiled taste I had in the bottle is gone, but itís not replaced with anything particularly interesting. Itís lacking that distinct coriander and orangepeel zest I look for in the style. Though there is an almost minty character on the backend. Otherwise, itís mild all around, but thereís really nothing off-putting about it. Iíve had this on tap and it was noticeably more robust, so I can honestly recommend that serving if you can find it.

Drinkability: Though not all that flavorful, Wittekerke is at least easy to drink. The mouthfeel is thin with gentle carbonation. It goes down smooth and has a clean aftertaste. It would definitely be refreshing if it were very cold on a hot day. It seems lighter than its 5% ABV weight, though. It doesnít seem to take full advantage of its body.

Very bright yellow, slightly cloudy on the pour with a white head. Fruit aroma (citrus) with a touch of malt. Sweet and light flavor with a hint of sour. Very clean palate that gives a short finish. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this beer.

Can. Pours a cloudy straw yellow with a white head. Aroma is bread, cracker, lemon, a little spice. Taste is a little sweet with a study malt background. Pleasant, yet mild, finish.

The appearance of this beer is a hazy very light yellow color with a medium white head that fades quickly and with some medium-grade sediment , and the aroma is reminiscent of lemon, wheat, and a hint of dough yeast. The taste is mildly sweet and slightly sour, and the palate combines a light body, slick texture, soft carbonation, and an abrupt finish.
