TheBeerOrg (1563), Kentucky, USA Aug 24, 2006 Pours light golden and hazy. Aroma of orange, coriander, and wheat. Taste is sweet, yeasty, with orang peel and other assorted citrus. Light bodied and refreshing. madsberg (4873), Søborg, Denmark Aug 23, 2006 Bottled. Pale yellow coloured. Unclear.. Dense white head. Honey, citrus and light spice in the nose. Flavour of yeast, citrus and spice. Is quite soapy. Dry and bland. Is light bodied. Fresh spiciness in the end. zxxzooz (13), Berkeley, California, USA Aug 19, 2006 Has a nice fruity-flora head, pours with little foam. Has a nice cloudy appearance, yet is lighter beer than most witbiers. This is a nice change if you are tired of your heavier Hef’s. SHANER4 (370), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Aug 19, 2006 I ordered a Wittekerke and my girlfriend ordered a Blue Moon. They tasted very similar. A nice refreshing beer, with a nice head. Tasted slightly better than the Blue Moon. eve (240), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Aug 17, 2006 Pale pour with slight head, aroma of very light citrus but thin and watery in taste. Good for mowing the lawn I guess but not much to this one, especially if you are expecting a full-flavored wit. Jukkabro (2981), Tampere, Finland Aug 14, 2006 Light yellow colored, little white head. Orange and some spices with mild yeast in aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Crispy palated, but pretty thin flavored: orange and mild yeast, aftertaste lasts with dryness and mild spices. Zeswaft (1000), Seattle, Washington, USA Aug 12, 2006 It’s an alright wit to begin with but the aftertaste gives you this sour and cheesy taste that you don’t want. AlKHall (161), West Hartford, Connecticut, USA Aug 11, 2006 Poured hazy orange-brown from bottle. I was initially put off by the presense of some white things floating around at the bottom. I saw that some other raters had those too (If anyone can tell me what they are plase email me) I tasted a lot of sour - tart fruits mixed with spices. hints of orange - lemon - and bannana. Corriander, pepper, and basil? Wheatiness and yeastiness is predominante. Overall, this is a good refreshing beer.
