scanman (146), Santa Cruz, California, USA Jul 14, 2006 Updated: Sep 3, 2006Nothing wrong with this beer, but the citrus-y , wheaty texture is not to my liking. Its hard to get over the appearance, a cloudy white that seems muddled. Very light with no real beer taste. I didn’t think it was refreshing as others have noted. I’d like to try it on tap. Or maybe a temperature issue would improve its rating. SHIG (2012), Aviano, Italy Jul 12, 2006 Murky whiteish yellow with small fast dissapating head. Smell is spicy and wheaty. Spicy dry citrus taste that is replaced with a wheaty finish. xproudfoot (729), Paleolithic, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 8, 2006 Can. Lemon fruit field aroma, alpine floral. VG aroma for its class. White head fading over a good gold haze. tastes of lemonaid, good sweetness, medium palate, slight tang, light on the coriander if at all. Better than expected and beer I would not certainlynot be shy to drink again. robertjm (399), El Cerrito, California, USA Jul 7, 2006 Totally cloudy. Sour yeasty flavor. VERY pale yellow almost to a tone of....welll, white! The sourness is not overly powerful, however, its the predominent flavor. No aroma per se. I’ve been seeing these short cans on the shelf at Trader Joe’s for some time and when I went there today there were a couple of loose cans so decided to get one to try. Not overly impressed and I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it again. LtJudge (431), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA Jul 5, 2006 Pours a cloudy lighyt, almost white color with a nice head.Aroma of wheat and citrus.A great citrus/corriander flavor to it.Not much of a aftertaste. radagast83 (1273), Fairfax, Virginia, USA Jun 29, 2006 Good Belgian white. Cloudy white color, with nice white head. Aroma of spices and banana. Taste of citrus. Nice finish, and seems to be a lot like a wheat beer more than a belgian white. brewblackhole (1367), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA Jun 29, 2006 Lemony wheat aroma, very light whitishcolor, spicey orange peel and corriander, with tart wheat, fairly light SledgeJr (2957), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Jun 26, 2006 In the 330 mL bottle from Council Bluffs HyVee. Pours a beautiful silky pale yellow white with gratuitous yeast afloat. Fine aroma of banana bread and cloves. A bit of lemon zest is present. This is a medium-flavored beer: the taste just does not live up to the beautiful appearance. Spice on the tongue is mild and the predominant flavor is wheat with not as much lemon or banana as the aroma promised. A quick and easy drinker, I was not disappointed.
