Cloudy pale yellow ale, thin head, great fizz. Delicious wheat presence, easy on the spices, delicate yeast notes. Tom Servo (424), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 20, 2005 This one was a little different. Aroma is citrus and a little spicy. Coloring was almost flourescent, like Mt. Dew. Flavor was mild, lemony, and very pleasing. Very thin mouthfeel, though not overly watery. Nothing special, but I’ve had worse. sayravai (3729), Helsinki, Finland
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 19, 2005 Updated: Jan 17, 2008(Bottled) Opaque yellow with a smallish, quite tight and white, lacy and partly lasting head. Lemon-limey aroma with mild coriander-spiciness. Strongly lemony-raisiny flavor with wheaty malt, some spices, low bitterness and some acidity. Light to medium-bodied, neutral and somewhat carbonated palate. Reasonably refreshing and not watery, but I still wonder if they’ve copied the recipe for Finnish mead to brew this one...
(Canned, was 6-3-6-3-11=2.9) Opaque straw yellow color with a very small head. Very lemony aroma with strong spices (cloves, coriander), wheat and raisins. A bit of a dish-washing liquid feel. Strong lemon and raisins in the flavor, too - very close to Finnish home-made mead that (still some) people brew for labor day. Light to medium-bodied, a bit thin and quite carbonated palate. Ok for thirst, quite harsh as a beer. It’s funny to read people’s ratings of this, spreading through the whole RB scale... :) Fantomas23 (463), Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 12, 2005 A good beer can come from out of a can. Wittekerke proves it. Hazy yellow body with a rich foamy head. It has the sweetness and bitterness of orange rinds. All around, a very pleasing summer thirst quencher. scraff (1942), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Aug 12, 2005 Hazy light yellow, creamy white head. Nose held notes of musty spices, cheap aftershave, light lemon and wheat. Flavor was slightly metallic, with pear, spices, citrus, and wheat from top to bottom. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, wheaty, citric finish. At least it went down fast so I could get to my next beer....

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 8, 2005 Poured a cloudy, yellow lemonade, piss color from a bottle. Not impressive at all. Very thin, white head consisting of small bubbles. Little lacing that didn’t last either. This seems characteristic of most wheat ale’s I’ve sampled. Aroma consists of a citrusy smell and some wheat. Taste is rather thin consisting of wheat, although it is somewhat refreshing. Carbonation leaves a clean, dry mouthfeel. A highly drinkable ale, but not all that impressive flavorwise.
