noelcb (271), Toledo, Ohio, USA Jun 28, 2005 Pours all white at first then resolves to pale hazy straw color with a huge creamy white head, which, when it recedes, leaves really nice lacing. Aroma is bread and yeast, citrus, and herbs. Taste is quite good, with citrus, faint malt, pepper, herbs and hops that are just right. Good mouthfeel, moderate carbonation, leaves an aftertaste of melon. Very refreshing summer beer. Retorp (2154), Tampa, Florida, USA Jun 25, 2005 hehehe this beer makes me laugh. Only wheat beer I know of that comes in a can. That is just cool. This tastes much better IN the can on the beach. It doesn’t hold up to better Wits on its own. Mouthfeel is great, but it lacks a good range of flavor. Mostly just a little mild citrus (I added no orange for the rating) profile and little else. I have to rate it high for its can! DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 6, 2005 Bottle from Peace Street Market, Raleigh. Hazy gold pour with big, bubblebathy head. Aroma of hopcit, spices, some florals and fruits. Tastes firm bodied, with fruit, citrus, tartness, and a crisp finish. Good stuff. Rastacouere (5551), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jun 6, 2005 Very foamy white head, meringue like comes from the heavily carbonated, slightly hazy gold hue. Highly gingery nose, rooty and hinting at coriander less than most. Lactic, floral and tart palate. The balance is pretty interesting thanks to a very spicy nature among which ginger and vanilla stand out, but are really not alone. Very grainy in mouth, gets a bit astringent from it even. Light-medium bodied, slightly biting carbonation. Good example. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 2, 2005 Updated: Jul 15, 2005(Bottle 25 cl) As "Bavik Witbier" Pale, hazy yellow. Rather small head. Some typical fruity esters, some spices - but not really interesting. 070996

Some astringency, but ends clean and refreshing. thijs van vlijmen (257), Utrech, Netherlands May 11, 2005 Not my taste at all, these white beers, sour taste which lukkily disappears quickly after swallowing
