MrManning (1634), London, Ontario, Canada Jan 3, 2005 Bottle- Thin white head, sits on top of a pale yellow body. Aroma is citrusy, spicy, and bananas. Taste is citrus, spices, hoppy, and sweet candy. Smooth, nice mouthfeel. Spices and fruits in the aftertaste. JadoreBlanche (114), London, Ontario, Canada Jan 2, 2005 Bottle- pours a yellow hazy body with minimal head. Looks like a pretty average witbier. Aromas of citrus and spice, as well as wheat. Tastes spicy, and lemony. Slightly wheaty and grassy as well. Slight bitterness left behind and spicy sweet aftertase. Smooth...very good. r464 (285), Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 1, 2005 Hazy golden yellow with a weak white head. There is a distinct citrusy sweetness, somewhat crisp, but not as clean and refreshing as I would hope. irishsnake (353), Oakland, California, USA Dec 7, 2004 pours a hazy yellow/white, fresh out of the can. the head is a nice, dense white, that quickly diminishes. the nose starts with an odd, almost skunky note, with the more expected orange/spice notes following. drinks suprisingly cleanly, with minimal yeast funk. very crisp in the mouth, and goes down easy.
robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA Nov 29, 2004 Hazy Yellow Coloring with White Ring. Citrus..Coriander..Fruity. Nice Cool Feel To It...Similiar to an Orangina with Less Carbonation... NICE Change From the Heavy Belgians...Very Drinkable and Enjoyable. OKBeer (1159), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Nov 21, 2004 330 ml bottle. Cloudy pale yellow colour with a mostly lasting creamy and fizzy white head. Pronounced lemon grass and coriander aroma. Lemon, light orange peel, and a touch of pithy bitterness to finish. Medium bodied, creamy, but refreshing mouthfeel, very easy to drink. Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA Nov 16, 2004 Tap: Hazy medium yellow in color. Strong floral citrus front. Malt and yeast through the middle and a slightly sour finish. Never thick enough for a wheat but overall a very drinkable beer. MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA Nov 12, 2004 Very, very light yellow, a bit cloudy. Nose is a bit spicy but smells a bit much of dish soap. Flavor is sweet, a bit spicy, and oddly toasty for a wit. Off, not particularly good. Strange palate, almost syrupy. Not a good wit.
